Amanda Vitartas has worn a lot of hats since beginning Future Popes. The Byron Bay native has had a very DIY punk career; dropping out of a civil engineering degree to pursue her love of music, she cut her teeth at Wing & Gill; as assistant booker at The Workers Club and later The Tote Hotel, touring international artists and handling their publicity roster.

Amanda later founded her own home, Future Popes handling a wide range of tasks. The now Melbourne based agency’s MO is a meticulously cared for, high quality roster. They’re small but incredibly effective team, currently guiding a surprisingly immense and varied crew under their publicity wing that includes international labels, Flying Nun Records, Burger Records and Slovenly Recordings along with locals, The Gooch Palms, Wet Lips, The Pink Tiles, Cash Savage And The Last Drinks, Hollow Everdaze and a ton more. While they’re also continuously booking international tours, including the likes of Chastity Belt, The Courtneys, Screaming Females and a slew of other artists.

This March, the agency will be stepping into The Grace Darling to take over its band room bookings.
